Ironwood Outdoors is a full service trail building and contracting business based out of Warrenton Virginia. We are a proud member of the Professional Trail Builders Association and are experienced in all aspects of trail work. We partner with our clients to provide custom and innovative trail design and we provide high quality trail construction on each project.
Our unique services include design, layout, and mechanized construction incorporating stonework, bridges, ramps, and boardwalks. We build trails of a wide variety of surfaces for a diverse range of users. Our past projects have varied from constructing primitive hiking trails, equestrian, multi-use trail systems, advanced mountain bike trails, as well as American Disabilities Act compliant trail.
We have a great understanding of the challenges associated with trail construction and the importance of longevity within the final product. Ironwood Outdoors designs our trail projects with sustainability in mind. We strive to build the longest lasting trails that require the least maintenance for our clients and have the lowest possible impact on the surrounding environment.
We have completed over 50 projects in the last 5 years. Our clients include The Army Corps of Engineers, United States Forest Service, Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority, The International Mountain Bicycling Association, Massanutten Resort, numerous bike clubs, and private land owners. We have a long list of satisfied customers and many return clients.
We take great pride in our work and strive to give all trail users the most enjoyable and safe trail experience possible.
Additionally we are proud of the fact that we build all of our wooden and metal features in house. Many trail contractors are skilled with moving and shaping soil but fall short when technical construction and fabrication is required and are forced to outsource. We are a one stop shop for all aspects of trail construction especially when wood, metal, and bridgework is involved.
We look forward to working on your next project with you.
